Meet the Blue Room Group, part four! Heather Hale - Make-up Artist. “Less is more. Let the light in. Beauty is every age”. I am so very happy to be working with David Blue and his creative team at the Blue Room. David and I worked together many years ago, and it is such fun to be back together once again. I am also a native of Victoria, and am enjoying getting re-acquainted with the village of James Bay. My career spans 25 years. I trained in VANCOUVER with Yvon Bourgeois Academy of Design, Make-Artistry and Aesthetics. After I completed all my training I was offered an apprenticeship with Local TV station CKVU (City) with head make-up artist Sandy Dennis. My years in freelance grew to include fashion, photography, film, commercials production, music videos, game shows, and teaching. I built a strong freelance client base in Vancouver to fill an industry need by opening one of the first talent agencies in Vancouver for freelance make-up artists and hair stylists called Hale-Wright Enterprises. A few years into Hale Wright Enterprises, I was asked to come back to teach Basic and Advanced Make-up for Yvon Bourgeois Academy. I found teaching rewarding. Watching people try new things and grow with confidence is inspiring. I like to share my knowledge and experience and learn so much more in that process. I use many products including MAC, Make-up Forever, Jane Iredale – (chemical free) mineral make-up. I’ve kept my skills current continuously working one on one with clients helping them find new looks for lifestyle changes and the aging demands of stress - less and/or more. "Make-Up Bag Special". Meet the Blue Room Group Part three, Delia, our awesome esthetician! Delia is also a native Victorian. After working 5 years as a palliative home support attendant, she needed a change. Graduating from the Academy of Excellence in 2000, she started her new career as an Esthetician. She continues to take different courses such as Lastone massage, Gehwol advanced pedicure, and OPI gel polish etc. Delia has worked in a few of the top salons in Victoria from Caboro Bay to James Bay.
